I tried to be reasonable. I tried to be inclusive. It was thrown my face and the face of everyone else who reads and comments on this blog. So he's banned. Of course he can still comment by leaving his home network and going to other locations, using a different name, and so on. But I'll delete all comments that appear to come from him. I've already cleared comments from the last twelve hours, so you may see some orphaned responses.

I'm kind of sorry to do it, and I know some people like having Really on the site for the, er, splash of color. Philosophically, I am opposed to this kind of action. But there were too many personal attacks and too much invective. I had a lot of complaints, and this was becoming the "Really comment thread blog".

Furthermore, it turns out that Really appears to have been a fraud or a hypocrite. According to the IP addresses, it seems the great critic of white, Christian haters has been logging on from a university in the US of A. So, if he does hate America and Americans, he's not too fussed about taking advantage of their hospitality and educational facilities.

Hey, Really, if you don't like it, go home!

Update: It's confirmed. "Really" is at the State University of New York Institute of Technology in Utica, New York. Thanks to Johan (with whom Really was two-timing me) for helping to verify that information. (Johan is on Blogspot, so that link is blocked in China.)

I don't know why I am wasting my time with this, but if Really sends me an e-mail from his SUNY account promising to abide by the rules I set out in my open letter to him, I will reinstate his privileges. My Yahoo e-mail address is here. (It must be from his SUNY e-mail address to my Yahoo account, not through the "contact" form on the blog. Think of it as collateral.) Until then, he remains troll non grata.
