There is little that I can add to this post from Asiapundit, so I'll just send you there to read it. In response to Singapore's daftly named "iN2015" plan to "integrate all the modern and Next Generation wireless and other infocomm technologies in every aspect of economy and social systems to retain its global competitiveness", Myrick writes:
AsiaPundit won’t comment on whether this plan will likely make Singapore more intelligent, but is does immediately make the island seem dreadfully uncreative. The choice of iN2015 again illustrates the country’s terrible habit of adopting trendy branding that is already cliched and will only become even more dated. This is a problem that plagues both the state and private-sectors.
Are Asiapundit and I alone in thinking that a dose of creativity might do more for Singapore's global competitiveness than any number of dystopian sounding techno-schemes? Is a "digital future for everyone" really what society needs? How about universal healthcare? That seems like a nice a idea.

People with extremely large amounts of time on their hands can check out the official iN2015 website here. Beware, that website is a spin deep into the surreal universe of the jargosphere. It is brought to you by the iDA (Infocomm Development Authority), naturally. And, yes, iDA really does use a lowercase "i". Why? Possibly because they saw how many people were buying iPods, and assumed for some reason that the same cute stunt would work on a government statutory board that, in the best of circumstances, somebody would take seriously. iDunno. It's iNexplicable.

iHave to stop now before iReally lose iT and blow the whole afternoon iRanting.
