Talk Talk China, one of the most, um, distinctive China blogs on the web, is closing down. A shame. In an era defined by an endless mix of China Hype and Big China Issues, it was always refreshing to read some petty, misanthropic rant about daily life. The three Ds were offensive, rude and politically incorrect. But they were funny, which pretty much makes it all OK in my book.

Still, better that they retire in their primes, when they scan still throw a good jab, than be remembered as desperately clinging on long past any semblance of good looks or talent.
